What our clients say

I have worked with Greg at Knowledge Designs for almost 5 years. The services he offers and the process of setting everything up, especially all done virtually, is incredible. He is ahead of the curve when it comes to customer service and integrating my business with the latest technologies, and following up periodically to make sure everything is running smooth and up to date. I highly recommend working with Knowledge Designs!

Greg at Knowledge Designs is a top tier producer. From day one he has been responsive, meticulous, and gone above and beyond with our best interest in mind. SDC Container LLC would not be where we are today without Knowledge Designs. I highly recommend Greg for any website, IT, or marketing strategy services!

I have been using Knowledge Designs for both my business as well as in my home. Greg is fantastic. No matter what problem I’ve had, he has been able to fix it while often recommending better ways of accomplishing my tasks. After he services my systems, they run like they are brand new — and one of them is 8 years old! He always goes above and beyond.

Greg doesn’t just handle our website — he takes care of the large majority of our day-to-day IT, too. He’s helped us with backups more times than I can count, and he’s never let us down. We enjoy having Knowledge Designs as part of our team.

We take our clients’ security seriously, in the office and out, and you’ll get the same treatment. We don’t advertise who we work for; the work speaks for itself when we meet, virtually or in person.

Who we work with

We keep our clients’ names off our website on purpose — the same discretion we’ll extend to you. Here’s the range of North Shore businesses we protect, build, and grow.

Why our sites behave differently

Most of the web runs on software that has to be patched.

WordPress powers roughly four in every ten websites. That is not a criticism of WordPress, it is a description of what you take on when you use it: a database, a theme, a stack of plugins, and a login page facing the open internet. Every one of those is a thing that updates, and a thing that can be exploited between updates.

What that means for getting hacked

A page we build has no database to inject, no PHP running on it, no plugins carrying somebody else’s vulnerabilities, and no admin login to guess at. It is not invulnerable, your DNS, your hosting and your email all still matter, but the attack that hits most small business websites has nothing here to attack.

The maintenance follows from the same thing. No plugin updates to schedule, nothing to break during a core upgrade, no store extensions falling out of step with each other. In our experience that removes more than half the routine work a WordPress site generates in a year, and most of the unplanned downtime with it.

Where this approach stops

It covers about nine in ten of the sites a small business actually needs. That is our own count across fifteen years, not an industry figure, and it is worth saying plainly where the tenth one lands.

  • Large or complex catalogs. Hundreds of variants, live inventory sync, customer accounts and order history. That is what WooCommerce and Shopify are for, and we build on them when the job calls for it.
  • Daily restructuring by your own team. If someone in your office needs to add and rearrange whole page layouts every week without calling us, a visual builder earns its keep. Webflow or WordPress, and we will set it up properly.
  • A site you already have and like. Often the right answer is not a rebuild at all. We work on existing sites regularly, and we will say so rather than sell you a new one.

We would rather tell you which of these you are before you sign anything than discover it halfway through.

What it scores, on Google’s own scale

Performance, accessibility and SEO measured by Google, on live sites, not a demo. You can check either of these yourself in about thirty seconds at pagespeed.web.dev.

The accessibility number is the one most agencies quietly skip. It is also the one that keeps you out of trouble, and it is measured the same way every time.

The same hands build your site

Your website won’t look like a template.

The person who secures your network is the one who draws and builds the site. Fifteen years of design work sits behind this one — motion, interaction, and a few builds made purely to see what a browser can be pushed to do.

  • 15 years Of design work Long enough to have built in every fashion that came and went.
  • 175+ Websites built For businesses of every size, in and well beyond Massachusetts.
  • ~57 Still live today We don’t host or maintain them all — plenty outlasted the contract.

Owners retire, shops close, businesses get sold. Fifteen years is long enough to watch all of it happen — several times over.

No hand-offs. No hold music.

Knowledge Designs is built and run by Greg Pagliarulo — no account managers, no outsourced tickets, no hand-offs. When something breaks or ranks, you’re talking directly to the person who fixed it.

A small dedicated team backs him up for off-hour support and bigger jobs, every client environment is documented in writing rather than kept in one head, and the team is expanding — so coverage never depends on one calendar.

Questions, answered

You call, email, or message — a real person picks it up. Most issues are fixed remotely within minutes; anything hands-on gets scheduled on-site. Behind the scenes, monitoring and patching prevent most problems before you ever see them.

97% of the time, within 5 minutes during business hours. After-hours emergencies are covered by our small dedicated support team, so urgent issues never wait for morning.

Technical SEO, local search optimization, monthly content, link-worthy pages, and Google Business Profile management — with a plain-English monthly report on rankings, traffic, and the calls it generated.

For managed IT (MSP) agreements you choose the term that fits — 1-month, 1-year, or 3-year plans, with better rates the longer you commit. Website care and SEO retainers run month-to-month after onboarding. Either way, we earn the renewal by being good, not by locking you in.

Your website runs on infrastructure we secure, and ranks on content we manage. One team sees the whole picture — so a server issue, a site bug, and a rankings dip never turn into three support tickets with three vendors.

Greg Pagliarulo, directly — the person who builds, secures, and ranks your systems. A small dedicated team covers off-hours and larger projects. No call centers, no ticket queues, no hand-offs.
